Mario Jordan Garcia

Mario was born on November 27, 1977 and passed away on May 26, 2024 at the age of 46; he was a homeowner in Southgate. Beloved son of his birth mother Teresa Jordan and to his adoptive mother, Lisa Garcia. Dearest brother of LaToya Jordan, Valena Jordan, Kimmerly Jordan, Tennelle Jordan, Emily Abernathy and Ruth Abernathy. Also survived by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other loving family and friends. Mario attended Southgate Anderson High School, participated in the State of Michigan Special Olympics where he received a medal in bowling, and participated in horseback riding for the Disabled at the Monroe County Fair. His family was his love in life; he loved to travel and lived a very active life.

Visitation will be at The Martenson Family of Funeral Home of the Allen Park Chapel on Friday May 31, 2024 1:00 pm until 8:00, and Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 9:00 until 10:00 am. The funeral service will start at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Woodmere Cemetery, immediately after.
