Marilyn Jean Mcginnis

Marilyn Jean McGinnis, age 92 of Trenton, passed away peacefully on February 10th, 2024.

Marilyn was born August 5th, 1931 in Mt. Vernon, IL, to the late Lawrence and Carmen Bradford. Loving mother of Marie (Keith) Tokan, Linda Conroy, Robert McGinnis Jr., Evelyn King, Betty (Danny) Stephens, Brenda (Jim) Demick, and the late Nancy Hurn. Proud grandmother of David, Leslie, Crystal, Kala, Robert III, Leo, Amy, Joe, Jeff, April, Angela, Jeremy, Nichole, and Kristen, great grandmother of 23, and great-great grandmother of 2. In addition to her parents and daughter, Marilyn was preceded in death by 2 of her siblings, Phyllis and Susie.

Marilyn treasured the time spent with her family. She enjoyed watching Disney movies with her grandchildren, crocheting, and Thomas Kinkade collectibles. She was employed with Michigan Basic Property Insurance Association from 1970- 2001, as an accounting supervisor.

The family will receive friends on Friday February 16th, 2024 from 11:00am until the Celebration of Life at 5:00pm, at the Trenton Chapel- Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd.
