Marie R. Uebbing

Uebbing, Marie R. nee Lebert formerly of Lincoln Park , MI passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022 at the age of 92. Born to Oliva and Leonie Lebert nee Dupuis on September 7, 1929 in Stoney Point, Ontario Canada, Marie was the youngest of 14 children. On April 15, 1950, Marie married the love of her life Thomas J. Uebbing in Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada and had raised five children in Lincoln Park, MI. Later in life when Tom retired, they built a log cabin home in Harrison Twp., MI and spent many lovely days there. Marie always had love for animals, especially dogs. She excelled at growing things; her garden was absolutely gorgeous. She was an experienced sewer, weaver, and needle-art maker. Beloved mother of Paulette (Allen) Gruenke, Michele (Raymond) Tejada, Thomas (Marcia) Uebbing, Gerard (Sue) Uebbing, and Jeannine (Christopher) Pesta. Loving grandmother of Jennifer Stahl, Thomas Stanley Uebbing, Lisa Trzop, Paul Gruenke, Jonathon Gruenke, Anthony Tejada, Maria Tejada, Theresa Tejeda and Olivia Pesta. Cherished great-grandmother of Cheryl Stahl, Jack Uebbing, Leah Trzop, Jacob Trzop, and Aubree Trzop. Dear lifelong best-friend of 73 years to Mary Cline. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews through the U.S. and Canada. She will be deeply missed by many loving family and friends. A Mass of Resurrection will be held in Marie’s honor on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at St. Irenaus Catholic Church located at 771 Old Perch Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48309.
