Mariann Jeffery

Mariann E (Hanlon) Jeffery passed on July 14, 2024, at age 96, in Livonia, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband of 77 years, Donald B Jeffery Sr. Mother of Daniel Jeffery Sr., late Cathy (late Gordon) Wood, Kenneth (Sheila) Jeffery, and Donald (Juli) Jeffery Jr.; grandchildren Kelly (Loren) Hirvela, late Eric Wood, Daniel Jeffery Jr., Adam Wood, Christopher Jeffery, and Kevin Wood; and great grandchildren Austin Jeffery, and Chloe Hirvela.

Adopted and raised as an only child by Mildred and Thomas Hanlon. She was surprised at age 92 to discover 19 half siblings, primarily in the Corwin and Dumas families. Detroit Cass Tech 1945 alum, world traveler, 300 bowler, and avid gardener especially at Ontario cottage. Her love of fitness and dance kept her tapping into her nineties.
