Marian B. Shannon

Marian B Shannon Born - 10/08/1954 Died - 01/30/2019 Marian was born on October 8th, 1954 in Wyandotte, MI to John and Gertrude Dunne. She was the fourth of 10 children. Her parents sent her to St. Pius X Catholic School in Southgate where her faith was fostered. She attended Aquinas Catholic High School in Southgate; after graduating she enlisted in the United States Army. There she met and fell in love with Jim Shannon. Together, they had five children and shared many adventures. Her grandchildren brought her some of the greatest moments of her life. Every time they were around her, she would light up with joy! Marian is survived by: her five children; James (Emily) Shannon, Elizabeth (Marc) Wisniewski, Matt (Angela) Shannon, Colleen (Kevin Keith) Shannon, Katherine (Efrem) Coaster. 8 grandchildren; Madelynn and Meredith Shannon; Courtney, Joseph, and Nicholas Wisniewski; Patrick and Quinn Shannon; and Wyatt Keith. Her mother Gertrude, and 9 siblings; Kathy (Bob) Stevens, John (Diane) Dunne, Joseph (Darlene) Dunne, Robert (Mary) Dunne, Celeste Burtka, William Dunne, Susan Lopez, Daniel (Torrie) Dunne, Gerard Dunne. Also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as other loving family and friends.
