Maria De Lourdes Calderon-Jasso

Maria De Lourdes Calderon-Jasso, age 77 of Detroit, went into god’s hands on January 8, 2025. She was the beloved wife to her late husband, Benigno Jasso, of 49 years.

Loving and caring mom to Benigno “Nino” (Marilyn) Jasso, Alejandro (Beatrice Coss) Jasso, Maria (Juan Daniel) Martinez, and Eduardo (Yadira) Jasso. Proud grandma to Joshua, Christian, Katelyn, Alexa, Delilah, Isabel, Brianna, Yazmyn, Bella, Sarai, and Ezequiel. Great-grandma to Xavier Benigno. She was also well loved by many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 3:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. Allen Park, MI 48101. Rosary service time is pending. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 9000 Laurence Ave, Allen Park, MI 48101. Mass will start at 10:00 am and will lie in state at 9:30 am. There will be a procession to Our Lady of Hope Catholic Cemetery in Brownstown, MI.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to La Sed of Detroit in the name of Maria De Lourdes Calderon-Jasso.
