Margaret "Peggy" Komray

Margaret “Peggy” Komray of Northville, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 in her home at the age of 72. Beloved wife of 53 years to Thomas J. Komray. Cherished mother of Thomas J. Komray, Jr. (Sabine) and Amanda (Daniel) Moran. Loving grandmother of Connor Moran, Kylee Moran, Tommy Komray, and Embassy Komray. Dear sister of Pete (Armella) Ashley, Gerald Jones, James Jones, Joel Jones, and Linda Oldham. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Prentice Ashley and Rosemarie and Gordon Jones. Peggy enjoyed traveling, taking cruises, and knitting. She was an avid reader and she loved Jeopardy! She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Visitation for Peggy will be held Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 10915 Allen Road, 48101. There will be a nurse's honor guard service at 6:15 p.m., following by a rosary held that same evening at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The Mass of Resurrection will be held the following day, Monday, October 2, 2023 at St. Frances Cabrini located at 9000 Laurence Ave., Allen Park, 48101. In State will be held at 9:30 a.m. and the Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. Immediately following the Mass, there will be a procession to Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery in Flat Rock, MI for a graveside committal service, followed by the interment.
