Margaret Juanita Thompson

Margaret was born on May 22, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan and died at her home in Van Buren Twp. on June 21, 2018 at the age of 91; she was of Van Buren Twp. and formerly of Trenton. Beloved wife of the late Jim. Loving mom of Carol Thompson, Linda (the late Jim) Banyase, Nancy (Joe) Wurm, Diane (Steve) Salusky and Jim (Alicia). Proud grandma of Sarah (Clinton), Emily, Kate, Ryan (Bailey) and Cody (Jordan). Also survived by her sister-in-law Betty, and niece Marilyn (Chuck) as well as other loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mary (nee: Eslava) Betancourt, three brothers and two sisters. Visitation is on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 3 – 8 pm at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. Margaret will lie in state on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 9:30 am at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Trenton until the time of the Funeral Liturgy which will begin at 10 am. Entombment Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Van Buren Twp. Senior Endowment.
