Margaret E. Mierkowicz

Margaret E. Mierkowicz, nee Valade, of Trenton, MI passed away in the early hours of Monday, July 22, 2024 at the age of 99. Loving mother of Bruce (Pam) Mierkowicz. Dear Mimi of Robert (Christine) Spradlin, Joseph (Joanna) Mierkowicz, and Richard (Anna) Mierkowicz. Dearest great-grandmother of Robby and Lucas Spradlin, Tyler, Evan, Andrew, Max, and Graham Mierkowicz. Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph, her daughter Carol Mierkowicz Spradlin, and her parents.

Margaret worked many years in the banking industry and retired from Chase Bank in 1990. She played golf and took piano lessons until Macular Degeneration took her life in a different direction. She had wonderful caregivers throughout the last 10 years in Margie, Donna, Sue, Mary, Jan, Bridget, Ida, Dolores, Julie, Jamie, Barb, and Pamela. We thank you so much for loving and caring for our mom.

Visitation for Margaret will take place on Sunday, July 28, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 3200 West Road, 48183. The Mass of Resurrection will be held the following day, Monday, July 29, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 2565 3rd St., Trenton, 48183. In State will begin at 9:30 a.m. until Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery in Huron Twp., MI.
