Margaret Davidson

Davidson, Margaret, age 89 of Allen Park, passed away November 13, 2015. Margaret was born on April 1, 1926 in Cheshire, England to her parents Thomas and Phylis Holland. She finished out high school there in England and met the love of her life, Aram, in 1945. Aram was serving our country during WWII and the couple met when he was in England. Margaret moved to the United States in 1947 and the couple began their new life together. They were blessed with eight children, Mark, Dwight, Victoria, Deborah, Richard, Thomas, Marguerite, and Stewart. She helped to support her family by working as a manager for Big Boy Restaurants. Margaret loved to spend time with her family, watch old classic movies, and was a dedicated Detroit Red Wings and Tigers fan. She also loved animals, especially her cat. Margaret will be deeply missed. Margaret is the beloved mother of Mark (Kathleen), Dwight, Victoria (Kurt), Deborah (Chris) Rocheleau, Richard, Thomas (Summer), Marguerite, and Stewart (Linda). Proud grandmother of 14 and many great-grandchildren. Loving wife of the late Aram. Visitation will be held at the Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd, on Tuesday from 3 to 9 pm. Funeral service Wednesday 10 am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in honor of Margaret may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
