Margaret Betty Munroe

Margaret Betty Munroe Westland, MI (previously of Allen Park, MI) – Betty Munroe passed peacefully on December 11, 2020. She was born on September 11, 1929 in Ruth, Michigan to the late Guy and Julia (Kosal) Tschirhart. Betty moved with her family to Detroit, MI and was a graduate of Nativity High School. Betty and her beloved husband Lloyd Munroe together raised two sons, Brian and David, all of whom proceeded her in death. Betty was the last born of Guy and Julia’s children and she joins her sibling Stella Tschirhart, Vincent (Lorraine) Hart, Clement (Catherine) Tschirhart, Wilfred (Frances) Tschirhart, Cecilia (Paul) VanWormer, Florence Grigg, John Tschirhart, Mark (Mary) Sherhart, and Eileen (Dale) Flynn in eternal rest. Betty is survived by many nieces and nephews. Betty was an avid bowler, loved to dance, had an eye for fashion and enjoyed a good cold beer. Respecting Betty’s request there will be no services and cremation rites have been accorded. Gifts may be made in her memory to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit, MI.
