Marcia Jean Krueger

Marcia Jean Krueger (nee Bleyaert), 74,of La Salle MI was called to the home of the Lord on November 18, 2017. She was the daughter of Grant and Violet Bleyaert. She attended St. Mary's Academy. Understanding the values of education and setting a good example she returned to school to receive her GED at the age of 43. Marcia retired from the Lutheran Home of Monroe and previously enjoyed working for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. Marcia took great joy in experiencing nature including watching birds from her kitchen window, enjoying meteor showers and storm watching. However, her greatest pleasures in life revolved around spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are Loyd G Krueger Jr (Kelly) of Texas and grandchildren Erik and Noelle, Antoinette (Toni) Gobbell of Monroe and grandchildren Robert, Christinna, Stephanie and Danielle, David Krueger (Brigette) of Kentucky and grandchildren Amanda, David, Grant and Vance, Kim Lovy (Elliot) of Massachusetts and grandchildren Isaac, Adam and E.V. and Robert Krueger (Rachel) of La Salle and grandchildren Jacob and Cameron. She also leaves eight great grandchildren to honor her memory and she is the dear sister to Lamont Bleyaert, Margo Knabusch, Martin Bleyaert and Marlene Coleman. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, her brother (Mark Bleyaert) and a grandson, Dillon Krueger. Visitation is on Tuesday November 21, 2017 from 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm and on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral which will begin on Wednesday at 11:00 am all at The Allore Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 203 E.
