Magdalen Macarthur

MacArthur, Magdalen. Age 83. June 28, 2013 of Taylor. Beloved sister of Catherine MacArthur and Christina (the late John) MacDonald. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and her brother-in-law Alexander MacLellan as well as other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents John and Sarah (nee: Beaton) MacArthur and her siblings John (Margaret) MacArthur, Duncan (Catherine Annie) MacArthur, Alexander MacArthur, Jane (John Dan) Rankin, Mary Ann (Sylvester) Rice, Martha MacArthur, Anne ( Gordon and Allen ) Beaton, Malcom (Peggy) MacArthur, Jessie MacLellan, John Joseph (Anna) MacArthur and Theresa (Allen) Beaton. Born in Mabou, Nova Scotia, Magdalen was an excellent step and ball room dancer, she played the piano and guitar and enjoyed singing. She was very whitty, kind and hospitable and loved having a cup of tea with company. She was greatly loved and will forever be in our hearts.
