Madonna was born on June 23, 1923 in Detroit, Michigan and died on October 2, 2017 at Applewood Nursing Center in Woodhaven at the age of 94; she was of Allen Park. Beloved wife of the late Clarence. Loving mom of Daniel (Vicki) and Lorianne (Michael) Harris. Proud grandma of Daniel, Jr. (Krystal), Carl, Michael, III, Lauren and Lukas. Great grandma of Caden and Cheyanne. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Peter and Leona (nee: Urshel) Tomalka and three brothers Edward, Earl, and Ronald. Madonna loved doing little things to help everyone and she will be greatly missed. Visitation is on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 3 – 9 pm with a Rosary Thursday 6 pm both at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. Madonna will lie in state on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 11:30 am at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 9000 Laurence, Allen Park until time of Funeral Liturgy at 12 noon at the church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, Michigan. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
