Luella M. Lindner

Born September 24, 1922 in Toledo, Luella was the daughter of Arthur and Ina (Bird) Wain. She married the love of her life, Norman A. Lindner, on January 27, 1945. Sadly he preceded her in death February 15, 1980. A dedicated homemaker, Luella also had worked at Autolite in Toledo, as a Maintenance Clerk at the University of Michigan and she had also done housekeeping after her husband's passing. Luella was a faithful member of the Maybee Congregational Christian Church where she taught Sunday School. She also was a member of the Southeast Michigan Antique Tractor Association. She enjoyed reading, crafting and making jewlrey. Luella leaves to cherish her memory her daughter-in-law Diana Lindner of Monroe; two grandsons: Brian (Pam) Campbell of Monroe and Tony (Jennifer) Lindner of Durand; two great grandchildren: AJ Lindner and Julie Lindner as well as a brother Robert (Dora) Wain of Maybee; and two sisters Betty Bodine of Maybee and Irene (John) Bogi of Monroe. In addition to her husband and parents; she was preceded in death by a son Larry Lindner; three brothers: Arthur Wain Jr., Charles Wain, Richard Wain; and two sisters: Elizabeth Engel and Gloria Jean Wain.
