Lucille Olson

Olson, Lucille L., 84, of Monroe passed away on 7/03/2016. Beloved wife to the late Oliver. Loving mother to Kitty(Dave) Hinton, Tina(Tom) Rohrbach, Diane(Clarence) Butters, and the late Larry Olson. Caring grandmother to Greg(Cindy) Bobruk, Dawn(Mike) Sheldon, Floyd(Janice) Miller, Jason(Kristie) Miller, and Eric Olson. Caring great grandmother to 10 great grandkids. Also survived by many other loving family members and friends. Lucille was born October 11, 1931 in Newport Michigan. She worked for the State of Michigan for 25 years as an Occupational Therapist for the mentally ill. She loved ceramics, making porcelain dolls, crocheting, knitting, and gardening. She belonged to South Rockwood VFW women's auxiliary. Visitation will be Friday from 3pm-9pm at The Ford Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11am at the funeral home, followed by entombment at Michigan Memorial Park.
