Lucille was born on January 4, 1922 in Marshall County, Kentucky and died at her home in Monroe Twp, Michigan on February 20, 2016 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Dalton. Loving mom of Geri Donelson, Jeanne (the late Thomas) Philpot , Gail Gore and to her "son" Mark Turpin. Proud grandma of Dale (Liz) Donelson, Barb Clark, Russell (Rose) Donelson, Rob Philpot, Jody Olah and Jammy (Sandy) Olah. Great grandma of 13 and great great grandma of 1. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Eva (nee: Lee) Wyatt, two brothers and one sister. She was a long-time member of the Church of Christ. Earlier in Lucille's life she enjoyed dancing the Charleston and throughout her life she loved flowers, going shopping and to garage sales. She has been the true matriarch of the family who hosted all the family events when she was able; she passed down her recipes as well as taught her family how to make them. Lucille was a fashionable woman-everything had to coordinate and she was well known for her love of shoes. Her heritage was important to her and she was excellent at yodeling. She will be missed for everything that she has been and will be remembered always. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shults- Lewis Child and Family Services.
