Lucille Corine Hair

Lucille Corine Hair, 81, passed away on March 25, 2022. She was born on April 9, 1940 in Savannah, Georgia to Bert Hudson Carpenter and Lucille Mary Carpenter. She was the beloved wife to the late Wayne Franklin Hair; loving mother of Eddie, Cynthia Kickasola, Michelle (Fred) Morgan, and Elizabeth (Geno) Carone. She was a proud grandmother of five and great-grandfather to three. She is also survived by one brother, David Carpenter. Lucille is preceded in death by her parents; Bert Hudson Carpenter and Lucille Mary Carpenter; her siblings, Marilyn Price and Bert Hudson Carpenter, Jr; her husband, Wayne Franklin Hair; and her daughter, Kimberly Mary Hair. Lucille was a preschool teacher for many years. She enjoyed travelling, singing, and dancing. She loved shopping - you could always find her in the card department. She was always a thoughtful and caring person who always gave her time to others. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. There will be a visitation held on Monday, March 28, 2022 from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A scripture service, given by Father Adam of St. Francis Cabrini will held at 6:30 PM that same evening. Lucille’s final resting place will be in Savannah, Georgia at the Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery.
