Lorraine A. Ferguson

Lorraine A. Ferguson, age 90, of Hillsdale, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Faith Haven Senior Care Centre in Jackson. She was born September 15, 1932, in Monroe, Michigan to Raymond and Stelletta (Mullins) Bondy.

Lorraine graduated from St. Anne High School in Detroit. For over 25 years, she worked as a real estate closing agent for Rymal Symes Real Estate Company in Novi. Lorraine’s happy place was in the sun and sand having spent over 20 years living in Fort Myers, Florida. She also enjoyed bowling and playing shuffleboard.

Survivors include three children, Rae Organ, Bart (Gail) Ferguson, and David (Cheryl) Ferguson; six grandchildren, Ryan (Stephanie) Organ, Stephen Organ, Elyse (Adam) Muehl, Gary Ferguson, Taylor (Mark) Westenberg, and Dillon Ferguson; eight great-grandchildren, Aiden, Daniel, Matthew, Zachary, Lillian, Beckett, Brooks, Kaylen, and one on the way; two sisters, June Barreto, and Gevonia (Mike) Gorges; and one sister-in-law, Frances Bondy.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Rita Burkett; and two brothers, Raymond Bondy, and Bernard Bondy and Brother-in-law, Thomas Barreto.

There will be a memorial gathering for Lorraine on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with the service beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 10915 Allen Road, 48101. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Brownstown Township, Michigan.
