Lori Lynne Ries

Lori Lynne Ries, of Rockwood, passed away June 6th, 2022. Loving mother of Malisa and Emily. Proud grandma of Eva and Lilly. Cherished sister of Timmy, Char, Danny, Teresa and Dink. She is survived by her ex-husband Jim; her son in law Steve as well as a few nieces and many nephews. She moved to Louisiana breifly and then ventured back home to Michigan summer of 2015. She lived with her daughter, Emily, Son in law Steve and her grandchildren. She was proud of being a grandma and loved her granddaughters dearly. Living with them was truly a gift and watching them grow up. She had recently begun collecting polished rocks and stones. She loved to see the true beauty of them. She saw them for the gems they really were. Lill, her grand daughter has taken over the title “guardian of the stones” when Na passed away. With this new found hobby, Lori was receiving packages every other day to broaden her collection.
