Lori Ferns-Williams

Lori Lynn Williams “Ferns”, age 56 of Dearborn Heights, passed away surrounded by her family on July 15, 2023. She was the beloved partner to Matthew Klann.

Loving mother to Amanda Garcia, the late Hope Garcia, Cody Garcia, Zakariah (Michele) Garcia, and Houston (Sarah) Garcia. Loving bonus-mom to Kourtney Klann and Holly (Jesse) Gavura. Proud grandma to Nyra, Zakariah II, Zayden, Zander, Mirella, Roman, Madilynn, and Riley. Loving daughter to James and Phyllis Ferns. Loving aunt to James Ferns III. Dear sister of James (April) Fern II.

She proudly served for her country in the Navy branch. Lori was an avid learner and an avid worker. She spent variety of her time giving back to the community and loved being a teacher. She will be deeply missed.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. Allen Park, MI 48101, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral service with family sharing will take place at 6:00 pm that evening. Visitation will extend until 8:00 pm afterwards
