Loretta H. Helstowski

Loretta was born on September 13, 1931 in Sterling, Michigan and died on January 9, 2020 at the age of 88; she was of Trenton. Beloved wife of Chester. Loving mom of James of Southfield, Michigan, David (Debra) of Jacksonville, Florida, Gerald (Linda) of Riverview, Michigan and Daniel of Trenton, Michigan. Proud grandma of David, Jeff, Thomas, Jay, Rachel, Jacqueline, Rochelle and Megan and great grandma of six. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Loretta was preceded in death her parents William and Christina (nee: Kuchta) Wojtas and two brothers Walter Wojtas and George Wojtas. Visitation is on Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 2 – 8 pm with a Vigil Service on Sunday at 2 pm all at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. Loretta will lie in state at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 10 am until the time of the funeral liturgy which will begin at 11 am. Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions to honor her life may be made as the donor chooses.
