Linda Marie Billock

Click on tribute wall above to view Linda's memorial video. Linda Marie Billock, age 74 of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital. Born January 13, 1947 in Monroe, Linda was the daughter of Reno and Iva (Burtis) Burggrave. A graduate of Ida High School, she married the love of her life, Michael Billock, on June 7, 1968. Sadly he preceded her in death July 9, 2013. A dedicated homemaker, Linda also had worked at the Socks Galore store for 8 years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Linda had a special passion for animals, she enjoyed solving Crossword puzzles as well as listening and dancing to music, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family. Linda leaves to cherish her memory her children: Scott (Christine) Billock and Shawn Billock; grandchildren: Gage, Lainey, Rachel, Victoria, Alex, Brooke and Brandi; great grandchildren: Zelda and Lorelei; as well as a brother Ronald (Ann) Burggrave. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother Michael Burggrave. Memorial contributions in honor of Linda may be made to the Humane Society of Monroe County.
