Linda L. Bateman

Bateman, Linda L. age 68 of Brownstown. Loving wife of 48 years to Robert Bateman. Loving mother of Melissa (Kevin) Beers, and Alicia (Joseph) Pizzo. Beloved Yaya of Griffin, Gage, Gideon, and Gibson. Dearest sister of Tom (Noreen) Stevenson, Debbie Thomas and the late Bob (Michele) Stevenson. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. Linda has dedicated the last 35 years to teaching at St. Mary Magdalen Elementary School, Pierre Toussaint Academy, and Rogers Early Childhood School in Melvindale. A visitation in honor of Linda will be held Wednesday August 30, 2017 from 5:00 until 9:00pm and will continue the following day, Thursday August 31, 2017 from 2:00 until 9:00pm at the Allen Park Chapel Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. A funeral mass will be held Friday September 1, 2017 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Melvindale. Instate 9:30am with a mass at 10:00am. Burial at Our Lady Of Hope Cemetery to follow.
