Linda Jean Lovat

Linda Jean Lovat, age 78 of Rockwood, passed away September 13, 2022.

Born April 11, 1944 in Detroit, Linda was the daughter of Donald and Marilyn (Sharon) Dihle.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Paul V. Lovat and her son John Eward Lovat.

Linda leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Stacy Lynn Martin (Jim) and son Paul Bryan Lovat; grandchildren: Christopher Tillman (Hailey) and great grandson Jacob Lovat; sisters: Gwen Chapo (Reginald), Sharon Egerer (Richard), Martha Sharon (Ed), Valarie Dihle; and a brother Donald Dihle; as well as a 28 nieces and nephews.

Linda was a 1962 graduate of Allen Park High School she then graduated from Wayne Community College as a Veterinary Technician. She was a member of Rockwood First Congregational Church as a devoted co-worker and chairperson. Linda loved traveling, was a scout leader for both boys and girls and she loved animals.

In accordance with Linda’s wishes, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes-Ford Chapel.

Memorial contributions in honor of Linda may be made to the Rockwood First Congregational Church.
