Linda Cheek

Linda Cheek of Southgate, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at the age of 66. Beloved wife of the late Virgil Cheek. Sweet sister of Rochelle (Cindy Pruett) Cochran. Dearest aunt of Kenneth James Keathley, Robert Alan (Olivia) Keathley, Lara Elizabeth (Kris Jepson) Keathley, and Nichole Ann Keathley, Anthony Taylor, Jason Taylor, Daniel Petto, as well as a great aunt to many other nieces and nephew and a loving friend to all. Linda was preceded in death by her parents James and Betty Keathley as well as her brother Kenneth Lee Keathley. She will be deeply missed by many loving family and friends.

Those who knew Linda knew her love of Elvis, including many local and non-local impersonators, her love for her family, for movies, for laughing, and spreading that famous Linda smile. Linda is known by most as “Sweet Linda” because she was truly that. Though Linda’s departure was quick and we are all very sad, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace and is surrounded by the family she so missed.

Visitation for Linda will take place on Monday, February 5, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 3200 West Road, 48183. The funeral service will be held that same evening at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m.
