Lillian Urane

Lillian Urane, of Woodhaven, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Applewood Nursing Center in Woodhaven. She was 87 years of age. Lillian was born on December 2, 1927 in Detroit, to her parents Raymond and Josephine Kulish (Greene). She married the love of her life, Richard Urane, in January of 1945 in Bowling Green, Ohio. Their marriage was blessed with their beautiful daughter, Sandy. Lillian loved cooking, sewing, and spending time with her family. She will be missed dearly by her family and all who knew her. Lillian is the beloved wife of 58 years to the late Richard. Loving mother of Sandy (David) Cloutier. Dear grandmother of Stacy (David) Greene and Kristie (Scott) Whaley. Proud great-grandmother of Mackinzie, Taylor, Austin, and Amanda. She is also survived by her sisters, Helen Schuler and Evelyn Marshall. Lillian was preceded in death by both of her parents, her brother Harold Boring, and sister Irene Van Lone. A memorial service for Lillian will be held on Thursday at 2:00 pm at the Trenton Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, with a memorial gathering starting at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lillian may be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
