Lila Pauline Heckman
Born in Detroit, Lila was the daughter of William and Emma (Schuetz) Gilmore. A graduate of Southwestern High School in Detroit, she married the love of her life, Peter Heckman, on May 23, 1953. Sadly he preceded her in death March 15, 2005. Lila leaves to cherish her memory her son William (Lori) Heckman as well as two grandchildren: Olivia Heckman and Alexandra Heckman. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Arleen Gilmore.
