Leonard Bruce MacInnes, Sr. was born on June 23, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan and died on May 23, 2021 at Beaumont Hospital Dearborn at the age of 61; he was of Taylor. Beloved Husband of 41 years to Gail (nee: Camponelli). Loving Dad “Pops” and “Turd-Face” of Stephanie (Christopher) Seaman, Jessica (Rick) Veilleux and Leonard Bruce, Jr. (Danielle) MacInnes. Cherished Grandpa and Papa of Brendon, Keatyn, Ryder, Bailey, Leonard, III and Leola. Dearest Brother of Darlene Doucette, Martin MacInnes, the late Debbie Spry, Denise Wyeth, Donna Hanley, Scott MacInnes and the late Doreen MacInnes. Also survived by many loving family and friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents Martin and Margaret (nee: Dapprich) MacInnes and he will be missed by his dogs Zoey and Fefe. Leonard proudly served his Country in the United States Marines and was a dedicated hard worker who served as a Mechanic at Capacity Transport in Melvindale, Michigan. Family was his priority and love in life; he loved watching his grandchildren play baseball and he also loved fishing, hunting, bowling, camping and resting in his favorite chair. Visitaiton is on Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 1 pm until the time of the service at 3 pm both at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard), Allen Park, MI 48101. Following the service there will be a gathering at Jessica’s home, 12660 Armstrong Rd., South Rockwood, MI 48179. Memorial contributions to honor Leonard’s life may be made as the donor chooses. To those attending visitation and/or services at the funeral home for a loved one, we adhere to CDC and State of Michigan DHHS guidelines. There are limitations on number of person(s) in the chapel that will be enforced. Thank you for understanding.
