Leon F. Allen

Allen, Leon F. Age 80. April 16, 2014 of Trenton. Born November 11, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan. Leon attended middle school in Lincoln Park and went on to serve his Country in the United States Marines during the Korean conflict. He married Theresa (nee: DuCharme) who survives him on January 16, 1960 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in River Rouge, they were married for 54 years. Loving dad of Lynn (Donald) Bolton and Thomas Allen. Proud grandpa of Nicole (Jeff) Grady, Jessica (Jason) Russell, Steven (Crystal) Bolton, Lisa Bolton and Austin Allen. Great grandpa of Alexis, Kaitlyn, Emily, Jaiden and Maelynn. Dearest brother of Jimmy (Colleen) Allen. Also survived by other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Hiram and Naomi (nee: Yeust) and twelve siblings. Leon's love in life was his family and he also loved hockey. He retired after 30 years of service from Ford Motor Company and was a member of the Father Saylor Knights of Columbus in Lincoln Park.
