Leo was born on January 29, 1936 in Trenton, Michigan and died on June 11, 2024 at the age of 88. Cherished husband of 56 years to the late Connie. Loving father of Amy (Paul) and Allen (Davena). Proud grandfather of Courtney (Brent), Paul (Megan), Rachel (Tyler) and Benjamin (Morgan) and great grandfather of Jonah and Celeste. Dearest brother of Roger (Sandy). He was preceded in death by his parents Vendel and Mildred and his siblings; Wilber, Virginia, Maryann, and Bernard. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. Leo proudly served his Country in the United States Army. Visitation is on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 3- 8 pm with a Rosary on Friday at 7:15 pm all at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton, MI. Leo will lie in state at St. Mary, Our Lady of the Annunciation Parish, 32477 Church Street, Rockwood on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 10 am until the time of the Funeral Liturgy which will begin at 10:30 am. Interment will be at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions to honor Leo’s life may be made to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) or as the donor chooses.
