Loving mother of Sheryl (the late Steve) Olech, Cindy (Jeff) Gauthier, Judy (Dean) Kaiser and Paul (Trish) Plaza. Proud grandma of Leslie (Eric) Drieselman, Eric Olech, Mike Gauthier, Anna Kaiser and Thad Plaza. Cherished aunt of Sharleen Pletkovic, Kim (Thom) Miller, Mark (Gail) Pletkovic, Michelle Pletkovic and Lisa (Tony) Mencotti. Preceded in death by parents Leslie and Anna Nipper and sister-in-law Irene Pletkovic. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Lea Donna was a former early elementary school teacher at River Rouge Public Schools, having taught for 35 years. She was an inspiration to countless young students, many who kept in touch with her over the years. She had a love of the arts; all forms of music, dancing, stage, and film, and watching movies was her passion. She also enjoyed reading and watching college basketball. Lea Donna was a humble daughter of our Lord and was deeply devoted to her faith and community. But her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren during family gatherings, vacations, and daily visits.
