Lawrence was born on November 5, 1956 and passed away on July 2, 2024 at the age of 67; he resided in Lincoln Park. Beloved husband of 30 years to Harelene. Loving father of Ronald (Melissa), Julie Ann (Eddie), Stephanie (Thomas & Patrick). Proud papa of Monica, Leo, Drake, Emma, Jackson, Ashley, Beverly and Frances (on the way). Dearest brother of Ken (Nancy), the late Mark, Dennis, Maureen (Steven), Kathy (Dick), Kevin, Gerard and Colleen (Shawn). Also survived by his sisters-in-law Paula and Caren, nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Therese. He will be missed by his dog, Maddie.
Lawrence was a graduate of Grosse Ile High School, Class of 1975. After school he dedicated himself to hard work as the sole owner/operator of Green’s Painting and other various maintenance jobs for over 40 years. When he wasn’t working, he was enjoying the simple pleasures of life such as, hanging out in his man cave listening to WJR on the radio or watching a Detroit Lion’s game in his armchair. He always loved spending time with his family, especially camping trips up north and canoeing
We find comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
