Juback, Laurene M. (nee: Scheffler). Age 94. July 18, 2013 of Brownstown Twp. Loving wife of the late Donald, Sr. Mom of Maurene (Robert) Bovitz, Patricia (Michael) Virbitsky, Janet (Michael) Vogel, Donald, Jr. (Maria) and Roberta (James) Podzius. Dearest grandma of the late Kenneth, Robert, Beth, Jeanne, Catherine, Jennifer, Michelle, Sarah, James and Laura. Great grandma of Molly Horner, Bethany Horner, Matthew Jankowski, Grace Jankowski, Billy Lyke, Colin Duyck, Noah Duyck, Allison Bovitz, Jillian Bovitz, Colton Blakesley, Makenzie Blakesley, Olivia Rossow, Logan Rossow, Abigail Podzius, Baby Podzius (due January 2014). Sister to Orneta Quigley, Dorothy Greca, Raymond, and Audrey Babik. Preceded in death by her parents Peter, Jr. and Maryann Scheffler (nee: Sikorski) and her siblings Eleanor Scheffler, Archie, Burnetta Amy, Donald, Robert, Ada Brow and Richard. Laurene was born to Peter J. Scheffler, Jr. and Maryann (nee: Sikorski) Scheffler on March 27, 1919 in the old farmhouse on Gudith Rd. in Woodhaven where stands Our Lady of the Woods Catholic Church. She was baptized at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Trenton and received all her other sacraments there including her marriage to Donald Juback on June 5, 1937 and now to the Mass of Resurrection to her new life in Christ. Besides being an excellent daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she worked very hard at whatever she did including working for McCord Gaskets Corp., in Wyandotte during WWII making gaskets for the Jeeps and Peeps, military vehicles used in the war. She was so loved and will forever be missed. Memorial contributions to honor her memory may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Debt Reduction Fund.
