Laurel J. Haley

Haley, Laurel J. Age 63 of Gibraltar. Born September 11, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois and died May 18, 2015 at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in Wyandotte, Michigan. Beloved wife of 39 years to Pat. Loving mom of Ellie Haley and Ryan Haley. Proud Nana to Jessica, Allison and Matthew. Also survived by her sister Melanie, her brother John, dear friend Judy Papi as well as other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Jack and Elaine (nee: Nutley) Linden and one sister Judy. Laurel was a graduate of Forest View High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Her primary love in life was taking care of her family; she had a kind, loving and generous nature. She enjoyed jig saw puzzles, crocheting, reading, flower gardening and hummingbirds. Visitation is Thursday 5 - 8 pm and Friday 2 - 8 pm with a Rosary Friday 6 pm all at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. Laurel will lie in state Saturday 10 am at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 32477 Church Rd., Rockwood until Funeral Liturgy 10:30 am. Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Brownstown Twp., Michigan. Memorial contributions to honor Laurel's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
