Khanna Abdo Ojo, age 93 of Monroe, passed away June 19, 2019. Born July 1, 1925 in Iraq to the late Abdo Ojo and Nargis Zaya. Beloved mother of daughters Shamiran Shelimoon, Ester Shlaimon, Khazi (the late William) Warda, Ameera Shlaimon, Margaret Shlaimon, Bebeh (Daniel Odisho) Shlimon, and sons Sargon (Angel) Shlimon, Shlimon Shlimon, and Yusif Shlimon. Proud grandmother of Naveen Shlimon, Ninef Shlimon, Ninos Odisho, Ashour Odisho, Miriam Odisho, Mary Ann Shlimon, Valien Shlimon, George Shlimon, Rosanna Shlimon, Dillion Messer, Paul Warda, Jennifer Warda, Peter Warda, and John Warda. Great grandmother of George Odisho, Juliana Odisho, Atticus Messer, Celine Ibrahim, Christopher Ibrahim, Anthony Warda, Jaylin Warda, Amarous Warda, Parrish Warda, Prince Warda, Dominic Warda, Devin Warda, Johnny Warda, Kházi Warda, and Odette Odisho. Khanna loved cooking, taking walks, attending church, sheep herding when younger, dancing to Assyrian music, and watching her sitcoms on television. Especially the Golden Girls and Walker Texas Ranger. She had a beautiful and bright personality and was full of life. Her soul will forever Rest In Peace in the hands of God and she will be deeply missed by all.
