Kenneth William Hartwell

Age 91, April 11, 2002 of Grosse Ile. Beloved husband of Joyce. Loving father of Kathleen (Jim) Levens, Sherry (Jim) Wagner and Douglas (Terri). Dearest grandfather of Eric Davis (Heather, M.D.) Levens, M.D., Brian James Levens, Matthew Kenneth Levens, Gayle Ann Hartwell, Bradley Joseph Hartwell and the late Angela Lynn Hartwell. Survived by his brother Donald E. (Mildred) Hartwell. Preceded in death by two sisters Dorothy (Harold) Davis, Helen (Loomis) Bouton and one brother Robert W. Hartwell. Brother-in-law of Helene Hartwell.

Kenneth was a graduate of the University of Michigan, a retired captain of the U.S. Navy and retiree of Detroit Edison. Visitation Sunday 2-9 p.m. at The Martenson Funeral Home, 3200 West Rd., Trenton and Monday 11 a.m. at Grosse Ile Presbyterian Church, 7925 Horse Mill Rd., Grosse Ile, until time of Service 12 Noon. Interment Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery.
