Kenneth "Kenny" Werstein

Kenneth Werstein, age 76 of Maybee, passed away March 11, 2024.

Born May 11, 1947 in Monroe, Kenny was the son of Robert and Cecilia (Siterlet) Werstein. A 1965 graduate of Milan High School, Kenny faithfully served our country in the United States Army serving overseas in Vietnam from 1966 until 1969. He married Karen Weller, on August 14, 1987. Sadly she preceded him in death December 11, 2012. Kenny worked for over 41 ½ years at Ford Motor Company Rawsonville Plant, retiring in 2007. He was a member of the UAW Local 898. Kenny enjoyed bowling, fishing, and playing cards, especially euchre, but his most treasured times were those spent with his family.

Kenny leaves to cherish his memory his children: Kalynn Perkins,  Kelynn (Rob) Carmon and Albert (Robin) Sobolewski. Step-son Michael (Sue) Balk; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ken has three surviving siblings: Marvin (Robin) Werstein, Paul Werstein and Theresa Cordone. Ken was preceded in death by his brother, Timmy, while he was serving overseas.
