Kenneth James Jasina, 64, a beloved father, brother, and son, passed away on October 1st, 2023. Ken, or “Kenny” to those closest to him, is survived by his three children, Andrew (Tiffany), Trisha (Marc), and Joseph (Parima). He was an adoring grandfather to Anantaya, Araya, and Henry as well as a devoted sibling and friend to many others.
Born and raised in Taylor, Michigan, Ken was an avid baseball player as a youth and taught the game to his children as a father. In life, he embraced the culture of Michigan whether he was hunting in the autumn, cheering on local football teams while wearing his beloved University of Michigan hoodie, playing softball, or sipping his favorite “pop” – Vernors. At the end of his parents’ lives, he stayed with and cared for each of them – a testament to his dedication to his family. Those who knew him will remember that he was quick with a joke or sarcastic comment, his penchant for ending sentences with “mon”, his regular advice to “chill” or “mellow”, and playing Cat Stevens albums on repeat. Kenneth’s profession was in the field of finance, where he was renowned for his work ethic, experience, and knowledge. He will be remembered as a loving son, mischievous sibling, caring father, generous uncle, doting grandfather, and gregarious friend.
At Kenneth’s request, no funeral service will be held - a private memorial will be held in the future.
