Kelly Rae Roberts

Kelly Rae Roberts, age 51 of Newport, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.

Born July 1, 1971 in Trenton, Kelly was the daughter of Robert and Sandra (Dubnicay) Pope. A graduate of Roosevelt High School in Wyandotte, she married the love of her life, Brian Charles Roberts, on March 9, 2007. Sadly he preceded her in death January 17, 2020. A dedicated homemaker Kelly also had worked as a cook at the IHM Motherhouse and most recently Fountainview of Monroe. She enjoyed reading, watching Home and Garden and Food Network as well as drawing, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family.

Kelly leaves to cherish her memory her children: Haliegh (Jason) Baehr and Nickolas Roberts; her parents Sandra and Robert Pope; siblings: Kimberly (John) Rose and Kerry (Frank) Soleau; four grandchildren: Natalie, Brian Owen and Jaxon; as well as two step-children: Dustin (Nicole) Roberts and Brianna (Adam) Cahill; and many nieces and nephews.
