Kay Frances Brunell

Born in Gibraltar, Kay was the daughter of Norman and Dorothy (Buckner) Gerow. She married the love of her life, Russell Brunell, May 11, 1957 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rockwood. Sadly he preceded her in death April 1, 1992. As well as being a dedicated homemaker, Kay retired from Ternes Packaging after many years of service. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church and Frenchtown Senior Citizens. An avid reader she belonged to the Frenchtown Library Book Club, enjoyed played cards at Monroe Senior Center and loved to travel. Kay leaves to cherish her memory her children: Donald Brunell of Benzonia and Dorothy (Arthur) Mills of Naubinway; grandchildren: Mary (Adam) Hastings of Monroe and Lacey (Tyler) Jewell of Monroe; great grandchildren: Gavin, Nathan, Devin, Calvin and Layla; as well as a brother Earl Gerow of Gibraltar. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
