Katy "Kathy" "Candy" Wilson

Born in Monroe, Kathy was the daughter of George and Anna Mae (Trombley) Riggs. She married the love of her life, Charles "Mike" Wilson on September 4, 1992, here in Monroe. Sadly he preceded her in death November 28, 2016. A dedicated homemaker, Kathy also had worked in retail, having worked at Fashion Bug, Imo's and the Goodwill Store. Kathy was an avid Detroit Tigers Fan, she enjoyed going to the casino, fishing and playing bingo. Kathy leaves to cherish her memory her children: J.R. (Laura) Duvall of Monroe, Tom Duvall of Newport and Gerry (Missy) Duvall of Jackson; a step daughter: Gina (Pat) Johnson of Newport; her siblings: Georgia (Mark) Kettinger of Monroe, Karen McMullen of Monroe and Burnie Riggs of Cadillac; as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and her "bingo buddies" especially Rhonda Davidson, Cindy Dingus and Vicky Flores. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Ricky Riggs and George "Bo" Riggs Jr. Memorial contributions in honor of Kathy may be made to the Charity of donor's choice.
