Kathy M. Johnson

Kathy M. Johnson of Riverview, Michigan passed away in her home on Monday, May 8, 2023 at the age of 63. Beloved mother of Jason Krug, Billy Johnson, Holly (Tim Hammar) Billups, Tiffany (David Rushing) Trammell, and Brandon Johnson. Cherished grandma/g-ma/gammy of Billy Jr., Kristifer, Bianca, Jayden, Jaxson, and Aurora. Dearest sister of Jim (Sue) Grigsby, Denise (Nino) Barone, and Linda Elomaa. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents John Grigsby and Geraldine Grigsby and her brother John Grigsby. Kathy was a dedicated mother and grandmother who adored her family and friends. She was a passionate Elvis fan that you would catch dancing at any given opportunity. Kathy was a rock to so many people in her life. Her endless support and love fostered a nurturing home for her kids who were her absolute pride and joy.  She will be deeply missed by many loving family and friends.

Visitation for Kathy will take place on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 10915 Allen Road, 48101. The funeral service will be held the following day, Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation arrangements will follow services per Kathy's wishes.
