Kathy Bartaway

Click on tribute wall above to view Kathy's memorial video. Kathy Bartaway, age 66 of Southgate, passed away August 13, 2021. Born December 12, 1954 in Detroit to the late Tom and Wilma Ingram. Loving wife of Duane. Dear mother of Heather (Cory) Bush and the late Sherilyn. Proud Mamaw of Jordynn, Kadence, Ethen, Kyrie, and Aubrey. Also survived by 3 brothers and her cousin Joni (Don) Curtis. Kathy was a graduate of Grosse Ile High School. She spent many years working with her parents in multiple restaurants in the Trenton area; Cozy Diner, Trenton Hotel, and 4 Corners on Grosse Ile. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will take place on Tuesday August 17th, 2021 from 1:00pm-9:00pm and Wednesday August 18th, 2021 from 10:00am until time of Funeral Service 12:00pm, at the Ridge Chapel- Martenson Family of Funeral Home, 2272 West Jefferson, Trenton. Interment to follow at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery, Huron Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association and/or the Spina Bifida Association of Michigan.
