Kathryn J. Huron

Huron, Kathryn J. Age 89. January 31, 2014 of Dearborn and formerly of Trenton. Kathryn was born on January 26, 1925 in Manchester, Ohio to James and Gladys (nee: Foster) Huron who preceded her in death. She is survived by her sisters Doris Duff and Shirley Wallace and their families as well as other loving family and friends. Her passion in life was teaching and she spent most of her teaching years at Owen Elementary School in Trenton. She loved to keep up with her former students and truly cared about their challenges and accomplishments. Her students will remember her high standards and no-nonsense style, but also her wonderful sense of humor and distinctive laugh. Kathryn's faith and church life were very important to her. She was an independent woman who loved to travel, and managed to visit almost every continent in her lifetime. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Manchester, Ohio.
