Born in Brooklyn, New York, Katharine was the daughter of Anton and Aline (Buck) Sandrin. Katharine worked for many years for Detroit Edison here in Monroe before her retirement. Katharine leaves to cherish her memory her son Mark Geal of Monroe, as well as a brother William Sandrin of Derwood, Maryland.
