Born in Detroit, Karen was the daughter of George and Thelma (Sherwood) Willhahn. She married the love of her life, Gerald Flinders, on September 13, 1969. A dedicated homemaker, Karen was a past member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Monroe and recently had been attending the Abundant Life Ministries Church in Temperance. She enjoyed playing cards and Yatzee, watching football as well as watching UFC, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Karen leaves to cherish her memory her children: Christopher (Amanda) Flinders, Stacey (Timothy) Elliott and Carrie Boylan; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; as well as her siblings: Deborah Stahl, Suzanne (Michael) Seymour, Roxanne (John) Tabor, Victoria (Randy) Bullock and Donna Willhahn. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Christopher Stahl. Memorial contributions in honor of Karen may be made to ProMedica Hospice of Monroe.
