Karen "Kay" Bower

Karen “Kay” Bower, of Gibraltar, passed away May 29, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Ernest A. Bower. Loving mom of Ralph, Jim (Marge), Mark (Cyndi), and Janet (Larry). Cherished grandma of Tony, April, Nick, Renee, Jayson, Ciara, Jessica, Shawn, Jamie, and Erik. Proud great grandma of Blake, Colton, Gavin, Alex, Morgan, Darian, Persephone, Cayleigh, Kaitlin, Liam, Lenah, Morgan, Taylor and Conner. Dear sister of Jack Frost. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bowman and Bessie Frost, as well as her siblings, Thomas and Marjorie. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

She was an active member at First Congregational Church of Gibraltar.

Visitation will take place at The Ford Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes on Friday, May 31, 2024 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will take place Saturday, June 1, at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Michigan Memorial Park immediately after.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital or American Cancer Society, in memory of Kay.
