Karen Jean Zeestraten

Born in Lansing, Karen was the daughter of Harold and Barbara (Gamboe) St. Bernard. She married the love of her life, William “Bill” Zeestraten, May 17, 1991. Sadly he preceded her in death October 28, 2011. A dedicated homemaker, she was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, the Thrift Shop Association and the Erie VFW Ladies Auxiliary. An avid reader Karen also was a member of the Dorsche Library Book Club and the Erie Book Club.

Karen leaves to cherish her memory her son William Zeestraten and a brother John St. Bernard. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother Tom St. Bernard.
