Pluff, Karen A. - Age 73 of Ash Township. Karen was born on March 31, 1943, in Monroe, MI. She sadly passed away on September 21, 2016, at Beaumont Hospital, Trenton. Karen married the love of her life, James, on January 23, 1965, at St. Mary, Our Lady of the Annunciation Parish in Rockwood. Together they have celebrated 52 years of marriage. Karen is survived by her beloved husband James. She is also the loving mother of Jamey (Jeffrey) Cady, Eric (Kimberly), Jeff (Cynthia), Chris, Todd (Shannon), Jason (Bettina), Jennifer Brown (James Martin), Kara (Scott) Taylor, Willis (Dawn), and Sean (Anne). She also leaves 23 cherished grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Karen is the dearest sister of Clara Faye Penner, Joe (Jane) LaDuke, Marcia (Craig) Argabright, and Steve (Dawn) LaDuke. She is also survived by other loving family and many friends. Preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Nora (nee: Casey) LaDuke, one sister, Nancy Brimacomb and two brothers, Charles and Michael LaDuke. Karen's love in life was her family. She also enjoyed attending her grandchildrens' sporting events and playing bingo. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Parish in Rockwood where she served as Athletic Director for 18 years. Visitation is on Friday from 3:00 - 9:00 pm with Rosary Friday evening at The Ford Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 23620 N. Huron River Dr., Rockwood. Karen will lie in state on Saturday from 10:00 - 10:30 am at St. Mary, Our Lady of Annunciation Parish, Rockwood. Mass will egin at 10:30 am. Interment Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery in Huron Twp.
